Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, has a great reputation with attractions that draw more than 3.66 million visitors each year. Famous for its cannabis coffee shops, red light district and the historic canals of Amsterdam is also a cultural center with many notable museums, such as the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam Hermitage and the Anne Frank. Lovers of architecture also will delight in this city. With so many visitors, the city is very easy to move and there is sufficient accommodation for all budgets.
